Using the archive feature:

The above link is the start of the old Tumblr with captions.
Pages 1 to 81 is my big burst of photos without captions, and pages 81 to 292 is the old Tumblr going back to my very first posts on page 292.
So to go to page, say 140, click the above link, then change the 81 to 140 and press return.
Using the archive makes it easy to remember where you are, and this way you can revisit many times and explore a few new pages or the archive each time.
